  Dissolving effect video in video

  Hello,

  I have to record a monologue for a school project. There should be scenes included where my thoughts that I say get visualized. Me sitting in the left bottom corner and the thoughts in form of a video in the actual video in the upper right corner.

  The problem is that I have no clue how to do this because I would like to have a kind of dissolved and dreamy effect to the video (the video dissolving, no black frame) in the corner (see picture). Is this possible to do, and if yes, could someone help me?
