Every time I add a dissolve on my footage, the dissolve adds a high brightness level. That is really annoying.
Does someone knows why is that?

I’m editing a trailer from an avid mxf footage I imported on FCP 7.

Fcp does not edit avid mxf media. You need avid for that.

    Hi jeremy,
that´s not correct if he has the MXF4MAC-plugin installed. then you could have native MXF within FCP.

@George: are there any other AVID-Codecs that are installed on your mac? how did you import the MXF to FCP? are you using the MXF-plugin?

    cheers
