    Hi Folks,

I would like to do the disk performance test on MacPro (Dual Xeon 2.66Ghz/4GB RAM/OSX 10.4.9/KONA LHe installed) that is connected to the NAS drive through the 1Gbps ethernet.

I have tried the “AJA KONA System Test” but that only allowed me to test on the local drives. And what I really would like to know is how fast can it go on the NAS drive.

Do any of you know any tool to do this? I know the Decklink comes with a similar tool that can be used to test on the network drives but I haven’t tried that yet. I thought I have seen a howto for this on the AJA website a while back which I am unable to find now.

    Any input appreciated.

Go into preferences, check the option for Enable Network Volumes.

    Thanks.

Is there a way to keep the setting? It seems the “Enable Network Volumes” keeps going back to unchecked once the program is closed.
