Anyone use any disk catalog software on a PC to keep track of archived files and projects? We’ve used CD Finder (now NeoFinder) and it works great, but it is for Mac only and we’ve started installing PCs. We have a networked RAID plus several (10-12) connected archive drives, and digging around to revise an old project can waste a lot of time.

I’ve been using Gentibus CD for a number of years, and I love it. It’s free, and it will catalog CDs, DVD’s, Network Drives (I use it on my dockable drives), and thumb drives. Being able to search my archives without inserting a disc or drive in the caddy has made life muchc easier. I actually donated to the programmer – it’s worth buying:
