Disappearing windows!!!
So I’m not sure what exactly happened, but my husband was working in FCP and somehow managed to make the canvas and timeline both disappear. I’ve tried the keyboard shortcuts to make them reappear (command 2 and 3) but nothing happened. Then I tried going into my window menu to do it manually, but the options for both the canvas and timeline are not selectable (they are grayed out). I even tried quitting and the reopening FCP, but nothing. Please help!

Check the dock and make sure you didn’t simply minimize them. Double-click on your sequence in the browser to reload it. Do you have “Spaces” activated? Sometimes my windows accidentally traverse spaces… hit F-13 to see if that happened.
