disabling effects
Posted by Gilles Gagnon on November 1, 2011 at 4:51 pmI must be missing the obvious.
How do I easily disable all the effects on (read: not disabling each event individually by unchecking the effect):
A) a track?
B) a video event?Cheers

November 1, 2011 at 10:51 pmNo, for as far as I know, this is not possible from within Vegas itself.

November 1, 2011 at 11:01 pmThanks Theo.
Hard to believe, seems like something an editor would like to do.
I did find one method.. sort of… in the video preview, one can bypass all effects there. (not per event)
Anybody else have any other ideas?

November 2, 2011 at 12:51 amNo other way in vegas Gilles…the only thing similar, you
know already, which is by bypassing it in the split screen view,
which is only for viewing purpose.Steve Rhoden

November 2, 2011 at 11:49 amThanks Aleksey. I can’t seem to get either of the context sensitive menus you’re showing here.
Which Vegas version are you using?

November 2, 2011 at 12:52 pmGot it! – Thanks again Mike and Aleksey! Exactly what I was looking for.
For those who are wondering… you must click on the small green effects/plugin track or event button to bring up the menu. So obvious… once you know it 🙂
Cheers,
Gilles
