Activity Forums VEGAS Pro disabling effects

I must be missing the obvious.

How do I easily disable all the effects on (read: not disabling each event individually by unchecking the effect):

    A) a track?
    B) a video event?

    Cheers

You can use Excalibur for that:

Is it not possible to do this natively in SV10?

No, for as far as I know, this is not possible from within Vegas itself.

    Thanks Theo.

Hard to believe, seems like something an editor would like to do.

I did find one method.. sort of… in the video preview, one can bypass all effects there. (not per event)

Anybody else have any other ideas?

No other way in vegas Gilles…the only thing similar, you
know already, which is by bypassing it in the split screen view,
which is only for viewing purpose.

    Disable Track FX

for more advanced options – use Excalibur, Vegasaur, or VASST

Thanks Aleksey. I can’t seem to get either of the context sensitive menus you’re showing here.

Which Vegas version are you using?

Gilles, those menus have been in Vegas for a very long time so keep trying.

Got it! – Thanks again Mike and Aleksey! Exactly what I was looking for.

For those who are wondering… you must click on the small green effects/plugin track or event button to bring up the menu. So obvious… once you know it 🙂

    Cheers,

    Gilles
