Disabling Audio Plugins in FCP5
I have Logic 7.01 and FCP5. How can I get FCP to ignore my audio
Plugins when booting FCP. It wants to authorize plugins I don’t use but
happen to be on my system. I see no way to disable these plugins in
FCP’s prefs. Is there a way to deal with this?

Any 3rd party Plugins should be found on the Mac in:
Library >
Application Support >
Final Cut Pro System Support >
PlugIns (in this folder)Quit FCP, remove any plugins you don’t want from the above folder (store them elsewhere) and re-start FCP.

Actually your audio plugins are in Library/Audio/Plugins.
Your problem is a bit of a pain to fix. You can remove them before launching FCP or you can create separate user accounts for when you want to use FCP and Logic, then put the Logic plugins in the User/Library folder instead of the one at root level.
