  • Disable clip selection snapping to top track?

    Hi,

I often overlay grain on the top track and when grading it’s annoying that the clip selected when you stop playing (in Color workspace) is the top track clip (in my case the grain). Is it possible to disable this or is there a workaround?

You can use an external matte on the track node and apply the grain. Link the video out of the matte node and adjust the gain for opacity. I remember seeing an example on the Lift Gamma Gain forum.
It was a new v9 feature.
