Making short AE CS4 vid HD 1920 x 1080, which needs to go out as an email first. Encoding with Flash Video Encoder, 768 x 432. Tried both On2 VP6 and Sorenson Spark, boosted Data Rate to 900 kb/s. Type is getting slammed, all noisy, pixelated. Strange thing is, when I view in QT or Adobe Media Player looks fine, but when I pass it to the web guy, the noise shows up. He posts with Flash, but I don’t know his settings. Have the feeling he is re-sizing somehow, or something doesn’t match my settings. Suggestions?

Definitely sounds like resizing to me, the specific problems you are having show up when you use the wrong dimensions when embedding a Flash video. Make sure he is accounting for (and adding in pixels for) the size of the toolbar/playbar if there is one.
