Dip To Color looks bad – has lines on it throughout transition
When I make a dip-to-color (black specifically) it looks, on the Avid screen, bad. There are horizontal lines across the transition, like bad video. When exporting the sequence, it looks fine. On an external monitor, it looks fine. but in Avid it does not. Can this be fixed? Working on dnx-36 material.

Are you mixing interlaced and progressive source material.

No, I am not mixing materials at all. All the same batch of footage.
