  DigitizingWindow::Activated Devices… and Exception: DIOProducer ERROR in capture?

  I appreciate everyone’s input here … and I thought I was a mere few clicks away (based on all your suggestions from getting this footage captured and into my project) … but now I’m thinking maybe there’s just something wrong with this Canon XHA1 camera … and/or the firewire (which is the same one I have been using to capture Canon XL2 24p footage just isn’t working with this camera) …

  My deck configuration should simply be “Firewire on OHCI” — “Canon XH-A1 24”, right?

  As when I then open up the Capture Tool and click my V1 track, I get the following error box…

  DigitizeWindows::Activated Devices StartPassThrough failed with ePSIsStaring

  And then after I just try and close that darn thing, I get another error box …

  Exception:DIOProducer – vcID does not match incoming video, new VCID: 1613836545

  Is this a hopeless cause at this point? …

  Or if anybody has any ideas of what I can try, I would be very appreciative.
