  digitizing Sony 1080i 60 fps video for offline

  NEWBIE HD question:
  What sequence and capture settings would I use to capture Sony 1080i footage firewire straight from the Sony camera?

  I don’t have an array so I obviously can’t ingest full res. Is there an offline codec for Sony HD….all i see are DVCPro HD presets. Or is this not even possible and I have to downconvert the footage to miniDV tapes to rough cut?
  And if I do that….what settings would I use to have a SD 16:9 sequence
