    Digitizing DAT tapes?

    HI

    I need to digitize some DAT tapes into Final Cut Pro. I have Blackmagick Decklink and Multibridge .

    Is it possible to digitize Dat tapes straight into the Final Cut if so, how would I connect it.

    I haven’t hired the DAT Machine in yet, therefore I dont have the means to try it out.

    any studio dat machine will have AES out.

    Is timecode an issue?

    Make sure you rent a dat with timecode out.
    Not all of them do.
