Digitizer Missing…Unable to capture
I recently upgraded to Tiger and since I did I have not been able to capture DV footage from either the camera or a deck. WHen Log & capture is open I have deck control and timecode is visible to FCP but the image and sound are not. When I attempt to capture it says “Video Digitizer Missing” and “Preview Disabled”.
I am running FCP 5.0.4 on a dual 1.8 g5 with os 10.4.8.
Am i correct in assuming that an upgrade to 5.1 will fix this…or is there a workaround? -

That is why I alway recomend that you start fresh when you move to a new version of the OS.
Backup – Whipe The Drive – Reinstall Everything
