Digital Juice Files Jaggy
Just got some of th Editor’s Toolkits from Digital Juice and need to use one this week for a High School Basketball broadcast. I loaded the files I want into FCP to do a test and after the rendered the animations seem awfully jaggy. Any ideas? I am using this in SD, 29.97. The animations look good but I know they should be much smoother. Thanks for any help or insight you can provide.

What is your Easy Setup?
“Jaggies” depend on your compression settings within your sequence. And another thing to look at, what type of files are these? Are they HD or SD video? I do know from experience that sometimes with animation files that are encoded using the anaimation codec and you need to use them in a DV sequences, you’ll see these “jaggies”.

Most important of all, how are you monitoring? On a computer screen or an NTSC monitor or TV?
