Digital Juice closed down their forum because they don’t want people telling the truth about where they get their products. They steal other people’s products, make cheap copies and put their name on them. All of their video products have been in the marketplace for many years. They take the products from small companies, who don’t have the money to fight them. If you put the name Digital Juice into Google you will find a number of links to what I am saying. Not only do they take other people’s equipment, they make inferior copies and when they fall apart they won’t answer the complaints that are made to the company. This is why they closed down their forum.

I have now noticed issues yet again with their Juicer software and they are now soon ending this software for something new “All New Juicer” (which I heard is online based only).

What I find annoying is that they are now going subscription based and even though the “offer” to join the Founding Member ended over a week ago, they are still sending out emails indicating you can still sign up. If the offer ended, end it!

The new Juicer 3.90 Build 118 has search issues and problems with the thumbnails. I’m pretty sure they could care less about fixing it. I’ve notified them, but in less than 15 days, they will close their old site and you can only sign in if you signed up and paid to be a Founding Member.

I have a feeling they did not get enough users paying the $249 up front so they are extending this “offer”. I for one, will not be joining them.

Diane, I’m interested in knowing what products they have copied others from since I have heard this as well but I’m not finding a lot details.

We at AEJuice reached out to the remaining owners of Digital Juice and offered to maintain the service at no cost, so existing customers wouldn’t lose access to the products they purchased.

    Unfortunately, they declined our offer.

However, we still want to help.

As the next best option, we’re offering to replace your Digital Juice products with AEJuice alternatives — completely free.

If you were affected, simply contact us and let us know which products you owned:

We understand how frustrating it is to lose access to tools you paid for, and we hope this helps.

Thank you AEJuice for trying to do something to help, and for the generous offer.

I guess it’s difficult to say what DJ products anyone actually “owned”. I have all my physical media (SD & HD). I have a PowerMac G5 solely for using the old JUICER3 app to access the old stuff. Then DJ shifted to an online-only browser-based subscription model, and I signed up early, I think it was called Founder level. It was full access to the complete DJ online catalog. I maintained this until they unexpectedly closed shop.

In later years there was something new that appeared called BusyBoxx, and maybe some other “Boxx” branded flavours. It looked and felt liked DJ. I asked if them if it was and was told no. But in the end, I guess it really was. I think it was a move to get back to purchasing volumes individually, rather that the all access DJ model. I did purchase a few of these and have a list somewhere. I don’t know if this is part of what you’re including in your offer.
