[Nick Griffin] “It would be nice if Big Time could also display the T/C of source decks”

I asked, the Godfather said no.

[Nick Griffin] “I’ll concede that Big Time is probably worth $40. That and I like my kneecaps right where they are.”

Martin might make you an offer you can’t refuse! (sorry, LOL!)

I work in an environment that every penny has to be accounted for. One thing I’ve learned is that no matter what the price, if you can explain why you need and why it’s worth x-amount of dollars for the plug-in, chances are either the producer or the company owner will OK the purchase. The thing that’s tricky, is to make sure that you’re getting the best bang for your buck. There must be at least a dozen different “film effect” plug-ins out there, and all of them at different price ranges. So it’s up to us as the editor’s to do a little research and find the best one for the money. If the best one is the most expensive, you can explain why it’s better than the cheaper one, and why it’ll help the project most producers/accountants are going to say go for it.

I know there are always exceptions, but in general, I’ve found this to hold pretty solid.

That all being said, I love DH! They’ve come up with kick butt (not to mention useful) plug-ins!
