I am, of course, biased since Digital Anarchy is my company.

But I recommend downloading the trial versions and comparing the demos on various pieces of footage that you’re likely to use it on. That’s the best way to make sure the software works on what you shoot.

Beauty Box is used extensively in the industry and you can check out some of the commercials that we’ve been used on here:

Mostly fashion and cosmetic commercials. The films and music videos we get used on are not usually willing to let us talk about them on the record. Which is a bummer because we hear some pretty entertaining stories about how it gets used.

We’re happy to be compared to any other retouching software out there, so please try the demo at:

Beauty Box is what I use, but for a quick and dirty fix you can always try AE’s own Remove Grain filter on a duplicate of your video (needs a bit of tweaking) with feathered masks… I think you will be pleasantly surprised and with more cash in your pocket.
