  DIGIDESIGN 888 WORK w. KONA 2 as AUDIO I/O?

  Hello all:

  Wondering if anyone has experience using a Digidesign 888 audio I/O as a standalone A/D D/A convertor? I’m looking for an inexpensive way (some old ones on eBay…) to get analog audio in/out of my Kona 2. The 888 interface has 8 channels of AES/EBU as well as 8 XLR analog I/Os — wondering if they are all live all the time — and if I could use the box as an ‘8 channel Flying Cow’?
