I’m animating a map Indiana Jones style. I have a red line that is a stroked path effect. When I used to scrub the timeline in AE3 (CS3), I could see the animation play in the comp window on the scrub. Now with the upgrade to CS5, when I scrub on the layer window I can see the red line but when I scrub in the comp window I see nothing. Anyone have any idea why this is happening??

My guess is that you turned off Live Update.

My reaction is probably going to be “Duh”, Just one dumb question… where is the Live Update setting?? In preferences? Thank you. I’ll have to try on Monday.

So, I’ve toggled the live update button and the red line only appears when the timeline is parked at a given time… It shows nothing while the image is being scrubbed on the timeline. Any ideas. I’ve also played with fast preview settings but nothing changed with this either.

I just solved the problem by turning off Open GL within the prefs. Not sure why this is happening.
