    Hey all

What is the difference between DV25 and 1:1 MXF? I’ve recorded DV and want to capture to my computer through an avid Mojo SDI. The resolution is the same on both codecs but the file size reads different. 1:1 is bigger. If no change in resolution what is making my 1:1 file that much larger? and is this of any use to me? what is the extra info in there and would I need it? Is it just less color compression/higher color depth or am I all wrong?

    Thanks

    Nadim

DV25 is a compressed format around 5:1. 1:1 is uncompressed, thus the ~5x difference in file size.
