Didn’t migrate settings from 17.1.4 – can’t see layers with blend modes in comp
Adobe Cloud did an auto-update and when I tried to open a project I got a prompt asking if I want to migrate settings from the older version (17.1.4). I clicked do not migrate out of haste and now I can’t see my animated layers with blend modes in the main composition window. I can’t figure out how to manually migrate settings to the new version so I re-installed the older version but I still can’t see the layers. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

Migrating preferences shouldn’t have anything to do with being able to see your work. You might try first clearing your cache (Edit > Purge > All memory & disk cache…). Otherwise, if you could post a screenshot that shows your whole UI, maybe we can see if there’s anything else amiss.

Walter is right, your preferences wouldn’t have anything to do with seeing your layers. More info on your project would be useful and, as Walter mentions, a picture is worth 1,000 words.
