Didn’t know you could do this – Edit while capturing
Hi Guys,
Just wanted to share something cool I stumbled upon. While you are capturing footage you can move the capture window out of the way – mostly off screen – and continue to edit. The other day I was surprised to realize this. I was able to capture HDV and edit HDV at the same time. It was a pleasant surprise because I was in a time crunch and the new knowledge came at just the right moment.
I’m sure for some this is old news, but for me it was a welcome discovery as I’d always assumed the rest of the program to be unresponsive while the capture window was open (I’m using CS3 btw)
