Also announced today, without much detail, is a new version of Final Cut Pro X that Apple says will be optimized for the new Mac Pro, specifically including “support for dual GPUs and 4K broadcast monitoring.” Speaking of which, a nice 4K Cinema Display would be a great accessory for the new Mac Pro.

June 11, 2013 at 1:54 pmEr No – we all saw it! You mean that bit in the middle of the Mac Pro demo where he said “The FCP X team are working hard on a release that will make full use of the GPU’s” and a shot of FCP X on three screens.. that bit!

June 11, 2013 at 2:44 pmDoes anyone have a link to a capture of when they showed the three screens? I’d be curious if you can see any FCPX UI changes on there. I currently use three screens and when I went from FCS to FCPX it was a bit disappointing not to be able to use the third screen efficiently.
