Diagonal crop in FCP?
Hello,
I have a question about cropping in Final Cut for the purposes of creating an effect like having the same person standing next to themselves in a single shot.. where you crop half of each clip to create the illusion that they really appear in one shot. I wanted to know if it is possible to crop diagonally or at specific angle. For example, if I wanted to have somebody sit at a table with a mirror in front of them, but I want the reflected image to show something else, would I be able to crop the shot diagonally along the line where the mirror meets the table?
Any help is appreciated.

Use the Eight-point garbage mask or bring it into Motion where you have lots of control over masks. Hope this helps and best of luck.
