    Hello,

I have a problem with premiere and a specific h.264 file (hd, mov container, straight out of the cam) file.

The clip is full hd and works well with my quick time player. The clip is absolutely free of any issues there. When I import the clip into premiere I get artifacts. If I want to export the clip the artifacts stay the same.

I already tried to delete the render files and change the render engine with no luck.

Is there anything I can do?

    Best,
    Michael

If only happen in single file, then it’s corrupted file. Try to re-convert to something else, see if the problem gone.

Get a copy of Quicktime 7 Pro and export to Animation or uncompressed. Or try exporting from VLC if you need a free solution.

Thank you so much for your help guys. Finally I rendered the file using FCPX into a ProRes422. This helped to fix the problem.

    Thanks again for helping!
