I am desperately trying to digi a 2 camera shoot that I did and sync to clapboard…blah…blah…blah.

I shot with JVC HD100 in a continous roll/no stoping and starting and have always had great luck until now. When I go to digi I was originally struggling with the new clip crap on start/stop, but it was making a start/stop point in the middle of a 5 min clip. I always pre/post roll a lot of extra footage.

Now the dang thing is totally stopping digi because of Stream Problems and Timecode Breaks. I have turned off all the prefs that say to stop at these points.

I am actually now trying to digi from a dub that I made last night and I know it has all new timecode and continuous run of it.

I’m ready stick a gun in my mouth…someone please give me some advice here…and I dont the “stop shooting in HDV” sermons. It is what I have to work with…so lets move past the rants…I need some real help.

    Thanks,

I may have found a workaround that will work, but is not the best choice.

I am, as we speak, doing a digi via the component outs to my Kona I/O to anamorphic DV with “uncontrollable” device. Not my first choice, but it is rolling it in.

It will eventually be output to a SD DVD anyway…so I guess this will work.

I would still take any suggestions of getting this roll in “free roll” in a continous clip so I could do a good HDV multiclip edit.

    Thanks all…
