  • DesktopVideo 9162 & QuickTime 7 issues?

    Hi there.
Don’t know for sure that DesktopVideo 9.162 ‘s install is to blame but that’s the only thing that got installed on this system (along with an update to the latest CUDA driver for NVidia Quadra4000 – with I don’t suspect at all). But since after the install I’m having serious issues with QT7pro on exports. Exporting from FCP7 and using QT conversion from FCP7 is also pretty disastrous. IO errors, quits and unclosed mov files.

Anyone out there experiencing the same pains maybe? Any ideas?

    Hi Francois,

The quickest way to determine if the latest Desktop Video install is causing a new issue is to uninstall this version and re-install the version you were previously working on. You can visit our website and go to Support. There you will be able to access the archived drivers for your device. If the issue follows, the driver is not causing the problem, and there may be something else at play. If rolling back to the previous driver alleviates the issue, then the latest driver might have something to do with the issue you’re running into. We haven’t heard any similar reports on this at the moment, but if you can describe some of the specifics of your workflow, we can get this tested out.
