Good afternoon guys. A noob question since there aint no one around that can answer me.
What this means?
Material specification
Cinema onscreen ratio: Flat 1:1.85
File format : DPX, Targa, Tiff sequence embedded in QT)
Resolution : HD size (1920×1080 Pixels) up to 2K or 4k is recommend or Hires quicktime (codec : Uncompress or Prores – audio can be or PAL size (720×576 Pixels) is acceptable but result might not goodDigital Beta material supplied is not advisable > distorted resolution.
Audio : 5.1 or Stereo wav file (48kHz, 24bit) *For dolby mixing, Please prepare separate track of Music, VO & each SFXFor cinema standard loudness 82-85 dB Leq
*We recommend material of both image and sound in 24fps. same speed as for DCP!
Tone at 1 k@-20dbSo if I use after effects film 2k preset (aspect ratio 1.32?) will the output look like crap?

That spec is not very specific.
The 2K preset would certainly fall within it (provided you stick to the 1.85:1 aspect ratio).
If you have questions, you should ask whomever provided you this spec. We can only make guesses about it.

So are these guys making a DCP for you or what? 2K Flat 1,85.1 resolution is 1998×1080 so if they want a full hd file it will be so slightly cropped when it is made to the DCI specs.
