Absolutely. I make videos using still photography that I put in motion in Motion. Sometimes I layer several different images with transparent backgrounds. I want to be able to give my videos depth by simulating the look of things going in and out of focus as we move along the z-axis. The focus and blur tools that come with Motion work great until I keyframe something to change its focus over time. When I do that, the images get sort of jumpy. I need something that will allow me to simulate depth of field without causing the images to get jumpy.

I get that d*mn jumpy thing too when I have a lot of layers and a lot of effects. I think it must be some tiny glitch in Motion. (Depending, it could be a very big glitch.)
