Denoiser Recommendation
Posted by Jeff Coleman on December 11, 2020 at 7:31 pmWhat do you use to denoise footage prior to keying? Red Giant wants $1,000 for their denoiser or $600 year. That doesn’t fit our budget for one filter. Recommendations please?

December 11, 2020 at 8:12 pmI’ve been using the Neat Video plug-ins for at least 5 years – does an excellent job. Price is affordable:

December 11, 2020 at 8:34 pmThank you. I see a lot of issues with Premiere listed on Neat’s website. How much is this a factor in everyday use? https://www.neatvideo.com/support/known-issues/premiere-sr

That price is for entire Red Giant Suite. If all you need is Denoiser then sure, that’s a lot to spend.
i suggest you also check the FB Premiere group for pro editors and get their feedback

December 11, 2020 at 10:09 pmI read the page you linked…as long as the Neat filter is applied before Lumetri adjustments, all works just fine. I haven’t encountered the issue with Warp Stabilizer simply becasue I rarely use it so I can’t speak to that.
Somewhere out there is a Youtube video where the host did a very in depth comparison between Red Giant and Neat – plusses and minuses both ways – in the end he liked Neat just a bit better – I must have watched this about a year ago – do some digging, and if I find it I’ll pass it along.
