  • Demux/Remux a ProRes 422 HQ file?

Posted by Michael Gibrall on July 16, 2015 at 5:58 pm

I have a film I edited on a PC and have converted via MPEG Streamclip into ProRes 422HQ. Looks great, but I’ve had to make some audio changes.

I have a stereo aiff file, but I wanted to demux from the original ProRes 422 HQ and remux in the new aiff file.

Is there a way to do this on a Mac or PC? If so, how?

    Thanks in advance.

    Dave:

    Thanks for responding.

I found out from someone in another forum that I should be able to do it just fine using Quicktime Pro 7.

    Will try soon.
