Dell G2410 LED Monitor vs Dell 2408WFP
Dell monitors seem to be well reviewed by FCP users, especially the Dell 2408WFP. Has anyone worked with the Dell G2410 LED Monitor? It’s one or the other for me.

Thanks for the link John. I gather from this that LEDs are the way to go.
If anyone has experience with the Dell G2410 LED, I’d be happy to hear from them.

LEDs may look great, but they use a new specialized connector to hook to your graphic card. Make sure you have an appropriate card. And if you eventually want to add a second monitor, you may have problems.

With Apple yes, but according to Dell’s Tech Specs, it’s a DVI-D connector. Doesn’t mention the “mini display port” like Apple’s website does. Might be worth looking at since it’s only $309 on the Dell website vs. $899 for the Apple monitor AND you can actually run two of these one on card.

Hi Eric,
If you want something close (better) than the 2408WFP, you need to go to the U2410.
is not LED backlight.
