Delivery prores422hq 50i from a 25fps timeline
Hello i need for a festival to export my project to 50i, my initial edit was done in 25p, so i ve change the setting of my sequence to 1080/50i and now i need to export it as prores 422hq, in the export settings what should i choose ? framerate 25 and choose intrelaced, or choose frame rate 50 and intrelaced ? well i m a little lost as how to export the correct way.
Any help?

Just bring the 25p cuts’ bin into a 1080i50 project, open the sequence, do a VIDEO MIXDOWN to ProRes HQ…and then export as SAME AS SOURCE. This will make a 1080i50 ProRes HQ file. It won’t be interlaced really. Well, it will REPORT as 1080i50, but both fields will be the same, as the source is progressive.
1080i50 is 25fps…not 50fps.
