deleting like in FCP 7
Posted by Andy Borowa on August 26, 2011 at 3:17 pmHow do I delete in “one click” all on storyline along with the primary storyline and everything else (audio, lower Thirds, music) from marker to marker as it was possibile in FCP 7.

August 26, 2011 at 4:12 pmonly way i could find is make compound clip on area of the timeline with all elements you wish to cut
then use your trim to selection tool (mark in out then alt )
then break apart (once only be careful) the compound clip
this is the only way
its also impossible to trim across all elements unless you use this technique (not sure i think this is good)

August 29, 2011 at 6:53 amGreat tip Tom. I thought that had gone away. But the key is that you have to lasso all the tracks you wish to blade through otherwise it only cuts through the primary storyline.
