    Hi,

I’m trying to create a clean Boolean through a model from the C4D default library.

So I’d like the slices to be capped, or joined.

I’m assuming to get this, I’d need to delete all inner polygons. I’ve had a google and it doesn’t seem straight forward.

What is the most efficeint way of doing this?

    Thank you

The quickest way would be to select one of them, hit the select connected command, and then delete them.

But I’m not sure that would actually solve your problem. Which models are these (what version of C4D and where to find them in the browser)?

Hi, it’s the model in the library here:

As an experiment, I can join 2 simple cubes together using either the connect or Boole objects, but with more than 2 it doesn’t seem straight forward.

I also tried Magic Merge plugin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2y2stgSJfg but that doesn’t seem to be able to handle it either

I’m way late but for anyone who comes across it… I would try:

    Voronoi Fracture:
    -sources, delete sources

    -Selection, outsidefaces

Then connect objects/current state to object to get back to your origianl poly, except now you have a poly selection tag of all of the outside faces.

Deleting that will work in many of the cases.
