Hi.
Is there a way to search for a clip in the timeline in FCP (I’m using version 6)?When I open my file, it says I have one file that has gone offline. However, I don’t see it listed and marked with a red mark in the browser. I’ve gone through the timeline multiple times but I cannot find a clip matching the one that says it is offline.
The file that is offline has been deleted. I’m not sure if it was a .mov file or a another project file, from which I copied a clip.
In any event, I don’t see anything with that file by scrolling through the timeline — maybe I’m missing it when I scroll through so was wondering if there is another and perhaps easier way to find it so it can be deleted and replaced.

If you know the name of the clip, with the timeline window selected and the sequence in it, you can type cmd +f to search for a clip within it. Is it possible it’s asking for a render file? If so just re render…
