    Hi!

I’m doing a video with many different file formats and I’d say they’re about half upper field first, half lower field. What is the best way to deinterlace such a video? I’ve been trying a few things, but almost always end up with interlaced lines.

    Thanks.

Sounds like tour using dv and HDV, Try setting your Project settings to 1440 – 1080 29.97 and set field order to Progressive, De-interlace type – blend for fast moving video, interpolate for slow. Also set your render settings, custom, video tab and select progressive. Hope this helps, Danny Hays
