I’m looking for a way to deinterlace an entire project even if I’ve scaled some of my shots up or down. For example, can I take interlaced 1280×1080 DVCPRO HD footage and drop it in a FCP timeline, scale a few shots up to 130%, keep the rest of the clips at 100% scale, export the timeline same as source, then bring the movie into Compressor and export a progressive H.264 output? I haven’t found a way to do this without the scaled clips remaining interlaced/getting messed up.

Let me know if you have any suggestions/questions. Thanks

Yeah, I figured that was the answer. Just wanted to make sure.

    Thanks Dave
