deinterlacing issues with dvd export
Hi. I’m new at rendering videos for different formats. I got it down pretty good, but i still can’t figure out this issue with interlacing.
So i’m trying to create a dvd using footage from various sources. In Premiere CS5.
Some videos are progressive, some lower and and some upper and i’m trying to export them as a single video in DV NTSC widescreen.
I tried different combinations but whatever i do, some of the clips end up being jerky.
What project settings, interpretation of footage and field options should i use to get a clean lower field video? -

Hi Bogdan,
The jerky issue could be a frame rate mismatch problem. Can you confirm that they all are the same. If not you will have to convert the original to a common framerate and replace in your project panel.

The frame rate of the videos is different.
I had no idea this can be an issue. Is there any way to conform the frame rate in premiere? Because i don’t want to lose quality by recompressing them.
