Everytime I export my video footage out using FCP 5 and then converting the file to flv format within flash 8 video converter the interlacing is still there. There is no option for me to deinterlace the footage from the Flash 8 video converter. What do I need to do?

I am not using the quicktime flash flv plugin b/c I need to add cue points.

I export my footage out as a mp4. I do not have much hard drive space so I cannot export as uncompresssed.

I don’t know about creating flvs directly in Flash Professional, but the program comes with an FLV Export plug-in that
you install into QT. You can export an FLV directly out of FCP, and the window that pops up when you select that option
*does* include a de-interlacing option. The plug-in is included with Flash 8 Pro.

Oops, sorry, I just re-read your post. I didn’t notice that you already mentioned why you’re not using the plug-in.
