    Hi,

I was wondering that what happens if I have already progressive footage and my Properties deinterlace method is set to Blend instead of None (as it is mostly when I open up the Sony Vegas) and I render the footage with this setting.

In theory: does it make the final result look more blurry or will it be as clear as the raw footage without editing?

Vegas is smart enough and it won’t deinterlace progressive footages.

Yea, there is almost never a reason to set the deinterlace method to none. This should only be used if your project is interlaced and you are using some 3rd party plug-in for all of your deinterlacing but then you need to make sure that you manually apply the plug-in to every piece of interlaced footage yourself or else things will get ugly.
