Activity Forums VEGAS Pro Deinterlace a video?

    Hi Charlie

    Truth? I don’t know! Over at the Swish Video forum that’s what was suggested. Something about WMV being inherently progressive (de-interlaced). They said it was a better choice than AVI and I don’t remember if I can render to Flash 8 in Vegas 7. Have to look again.

    Here’s one of the quotes I got from them…..

    “Flash 8 is way closer to what WMV offers in terms of quality.
    To make it simple (no offence to be taken), MX is to Mpeg1 what Flash 8 is to Mpeg4. (WMV is a Mpeg4 like format)”.

    If it makes sense to you, then please explain it to me. The whole idea for this entire subject was I wanted to put a short 1 minute clip online for someone to see. WMV is an internet type of format. But then so is Flash so I just thought to try them both. The Flash 8 looked better.
