June 29, 2018 at 9:54 pmHi Rafal,
I used Vegas Pro 15 (build 361) 1920×1080 29.970 and rendered using the Sony AVC/MVC format 720 HD.
I used the graphics you put up on Imgur. I placed them on the top track (layer 1) using the Vegas Chroma Keyer FX to pass through the black on the first 32 stills and pass through the green on the rest, so at first you see the green graphics animated, then the black graphic animated. The bottom track (layer 2), is a photo from one of my previous video projects.
So two tracks, one render. I posted it on Youtube here: https://youtu.be/ot1tL6mWEIg
Is this an example of what you are going for?
Best Regards…….George

June 29, 2018 at 10:39 pmRafal,
Are you following my workflow, or would you like the project file to feed your own source media to try it?

June 30, 2018 at 10:07 amWould be nice? Thou your said project isn’t the exact thing I need, since I still need it to transition from one video to the other.

June 30, 2018 at 1:08 pmRafal, before I send the project file, please explain about transitioning from one video to the other? I have a still as the background, is this correct or are you wanting to use a motion event instead? Does the graphic animation represent what you want? I used the still graphics you presented in your earlier post. Depending on your reply, I will make up another version when I return later this afternoon.

June 30, 2018 at 2:17 pmTreat the picture as a Transition effect that’s 70 frame long, and how a transition effect would apply when you put it over transitioning videos, is how this effect should work as well.
In my case, as you can see in my example, it transitions from one moving video to the other, while also having a a single frame of the red square background transition at the same time, hence the red squares in my example, so it goes from video, to background, to video, making it at 71 frames. There is also a 5 frame fade in and out for the grid at beginning and end of the transition effect, making it a 81 frame effect.
It has to pass thru the green, to transition from one picture/video into the other, in those 71/81 frames. My only problem with this method, is that the way I figured out how to do this effect, requires me to render out the transition part of the video 3 times, which ends up causing a, while not a bit, but still noticeable downwards shift in quality for those parts of the video. -

June 30, 2018 at 10:29 pmOK, I have almost what you are describing. To be exact, put all you source media (motion and stills) in a zip file and post them so I can download. I will feed them into my project, render and post to Youtube. After you confirm it is correct, I will put the project veg file up so you can download and use it to modify to your specific needs.

July 1, 2018 at 4:10 pmHi Rafal,
After looking at what you included in this last zip file, it appears to be pretty much the same media that you had made previous available. I’m not sure why you are doing it the way you are, but here are my two suggestions:
1st, if you want to continue to do it your current way, use the intermediate codec I previously suggested for your multiple renders to avoid losing resolution until the final render. On the final render use whatever delivery format codec you like for uploading to Youtube.
2nd, change your workflow to make it a bit simpler so you only have to render once – – – –
a. Produce your diamond shape still (pictures) graphics using the color of your choice that you wish to appear in your final results, be it red or whatever. Use any other contrasting color as the background which you can then pass through, to see the background video, in Vegas by using the Vegas Chroma Keyer FX. Or create you graphics (pictures) in PNG format and make the background transparent and then you will not the Chroma keyer FX, as your background video will pass through the transparent background of the graphic (picture).
b. Add your graphic stills (pictures) into track 1 in Vegas in the sequence you want for the animation and for the display time required to achieve the elapsed motion time you prefer. Assign the Vegas Chroma Keyer FX, if that is what you need to use at this step, so the background video (you will add to track 2) will pass through.
c. Add your video background clips as events on track 2.
d. Adjust the position of both tracks and the time so they appear as you like them and include whatever fade-ins, fade-outs you would like.
e. Render in the delivery format you prefer. DONE.
The trick to one render is to put in the Vegas Project, the animated graphics as you prefer them to appear, without having to manipulate them in Vegas…….do your creative work on the graphics when you create them in the photo application of choice (PhotoShop, PaintShopPro, Affinity Photo).
I hope this helps.
