Default shutter speed
With the EX1, when the format is 1080, 30P, what is the default shutter speed when the shutter switch is set to OFF?
I’m thinking it is 1/40th which seems a bit slow. Any one know for sure? To shoot at 1/60th, I must turn the shutter switch ON, correct?

… you’re right…for 30 fps, switch on = 1/60th, but switch off is 1/30th….
