default drag import as footage not working
i’ve never managed to get this to work with afx 7.0 default drag import is set to “footage”, same as 6.5. and yet when i drag a folder containing an image sequence (no sub folders, i know that) from the finder (mac os x) into ae7, it imports each individual image and places them all in a folder.
WHY doesn’t this functionality behave the same as in 6.5?
there’s nothing in the help at all. the help says it works the same way as before, drag=footage, saying you’d have to hold option and drag to import as a folder of files, which i am NOT doing. so why am i getting a folder of files?
same on my widows box at home. i feel like i’m taking crazy pills!!
