    Hello!

‘m working with a MXF sony f55 (resolution: 4096×2160). Project and timeline are settings at same resolution, (4096×2160). My output scaling preset is 1920×1080.
When decode quality is Use Project Setting (4096×1260) I can play 24 fps. When I change to Decode Full Resolution, I cant play 24 anymore.
Why can not play at 24 fps using Decode Full Resolution?

    Working in Resolve 9, CPU 2 x 2.4 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon, 40GB 1333MHz DDR3 ECC and 4096 MB NVIDIA Quadro K5000

    tks in advance!

Use low or medium resolution for work and render in full res.
4K with full resolution and grading no realtime .

    Hi Nuno, tks very much!

But, since my decode quality is Use Project Setting (4096×2160), I’m working in full resolution, or not? What’s the difference between Decode Quality in Use Project Setting and Full res, concernin both in the same resolution (4096×2160)?

your frame size and your decode or debayer quality or not the same thing. You can have low res 4k, or high res 4k. Work at lower res for the playback, and then switch to high res (full quality) for your render.
