  Decklink vs AJA – working with FinalTouch Colour Grading

  I’ve heard that the AJA out performs the Decklink card when working with Silicon Colors Final Touch Colour Grading software.

  As the Intel PowerMac’s are due to be released I’ll be needing a new Video card and as I work with FinalTouch I’d like the best card.

  I’ve heard AJA is better because it processors in RGB and that Decklink does a RGB – YUV conversion which takes up processor cycles. I’ve also hears its impossible to get Real Time HD playback with FinalTouch and a Multibridge.

  Does BlackMagic have any plans to improve performance with FinalTouch?

  I’d like to stay with BlackMagic 🙂
