  Decklink Studio workflow impact?

  I am contemplating the possibilty of purchasing a Decklink Studio card for my Mac Pro 8-core workstation, the motivation is primarily to use with Media Composer 6, Premiere pro and Resolve lite (I know the HD extreme 3D is the recommended card for resolve, but it’s a bit overkill for me and the work I do), but I was wondering about other software compatibility and advantages…

  I use the following software frequently for various projects and would like to know if the decklink would impact or provide improvement on my workflow with these softwares:

  After Effects
  Nuke
  Maya
  Pro tools and Digital Performer
  Max/MSP/Jitter

  BM website says the Decklink is compatible with AFX, Nuke and Pro tools, and gives a bit of information for each, but I’m not sure I understand exactly how it would impact my work practically speaking and would like to hear feedback from other users of these softwares out there that also use a decklink family io.
