Have been doing a bit of digging since plugging our SONY broadcast monitor into a Mac with a Decklink SP card and AE has stopped previewing in realtime…is there any way to make this work?
When I disable Decklink video preview in AE prefs all is fine..switch it on and it previews at a crawl!

I appreciate the SP is not a HD capable card, but I only want to check my work in an SD monitor as it is for terrestrial broadcast. As the SP card has a downconvert option I figured this should work…

If we invested in a HD Extreme card (probably going to soon anyway for HD capture, etc) can I preview HD in realtime when downconverted to an SD monitor output?

    Thanks,
    Jim.
